LOQI Louise Bourgeois – Spiral Black

One spiral, drawn by hand, winding inward and outward at the same time. Louise Bourgeois grew up dyeing and weaving in her parents' tapestry studio, loved spiders for the same reason, and used the spiral as her symbol for the cyclical nature of life — “an attempt at controlling the chaos.” On soft grey it reads calm, graphic and quietly unusual.

What you get
One LOQI tote in 100% recycled GREEN CIRCLE® taffeta — 50 × 42 cm with a 27 cm handle drop, rated to carry up to 20 kg. It weighs 55 g and folds into its own matching 12 × 12 cm zip pouch, so it disappears into a coat pocket until you need it.

How to use
Unzip the pouch, shake the bag out, and it is ready. To pack it away, fold it back into the pouch — a few seconds, no technique required. The taffeta is water-resistant, so a rain shower on the way home is not a problem.

Where it lives
The weekly shop, the farmers' market, a library run, gym kit, a beach day, or the carry-on that needed one more compartment. Hand wash to protect the water-resistant coating; machine wash at 30 °C in a laundry bag when it needs a proper clean.
